Vaccinations

   

The Lehan Drugs immunization program was the catalyst in Lehan’s earning the 2009 "Most Innovative Pharmacy Practice" award for the state of Illinois. Providing over 3000 vaccinations yearly, our flagship program gives patients one of the most convenient methods for receiving recommended vaccines, including flu shots, shingles, and pneumonia vaccinations.

In accordance with Illinois state law, Lehan's provides immunizations for patients age 10 and older. These include:

- Influenza (recommended for most patients, provided for all Medicare recipients free of charge, available to the general public.)

- Shingles (Zostavax®, recommended for all patients over 60 who have had chicken pox)

- Pneumonia (recommended for patients over 65, and covered fully by Medicare)
